Where is the campsite located?
Camping Arribes del Duero is located in Lumbrales, in the extreme west of the province of Salamanca, within the Arribes del Duero Natural Park, a unique natural environment, Biosphere Reserve and SPA area (Special Protection Area for Birds) and very close to the border with Portugal.
Is the campground open year-round?
Our campground is open year-round, except from December 15 to January 31.
What is a pet-friendly campsite?
Yes, we are a pet-friendly campsite. This means that pets are welcome, but must remain under control at all times and comply with the rules of the internal regulations. If you’d like, you can sign up for our dog-sitting service.
What type of accommodations does the campground offer?
We have sites for trailers, motorhomes, and campervans. We also have an open area without designated sites. If you’d like, you can also enjoy the camping experience with added comforts in our wooden bungalow or in the vintage trailer “La Nómada.” We’ll have more accommodations available for the upcoming 2027 season. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Camping: Check-in from 09:00 to 22:00 and check-out 24 hours after check-in.
For bungalows and RVs: Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
Until what time can I camp?
The established schedule for the installation of camping units is from 09:00 am to 10:00 pm.
What services are included with the stay?

What are the pool hours at the campsite?
We have an outdoor pool that is open only during the summer season. The hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. These hours may vary depending on the season. Updated hours for all services are posted at the entrance to each facility.
Is it possible to eat at the campsite?
Yes, we have a summer bar where you can enjoy our nice terrace (open in high season), where you can eat tasty pizzas or snacks. And of course, you can cook and eat on your plot.
Are barbecues allowed?
Yes, as long as they are used in designated areas (never on the lots), only charcoal (not wood) is used as fuel, and safety regulations are followed. You should check with the front desk, as environmental authorities restrict open fires during dry seasons every year.
Is there a store at the campground?
At the campground, we have a store that carries basic necessities, as well as frozen foods, freshly baked bread in the mornings, and fruit during peak season.
What are the rates?
Rates vary according to season and type of accommodation. You can consult the updated prices in the section of Rates.
Do I need to book in advance?
For camping, reservations aren’t usually necessary, but during peak season, it’s advisable to book in advance. For bungalows or RVs, advance reservations are required. You can easily make a reservation via WhatsApp, by phone, by email, or through the Online Reservations. Is a deposit required to confirm the reservation?
Yes, the advance payment for the confirmation of a reservation will be 50% of the total amount. The rest of the amount of the reservation (the other 50%) will be paid at check-in. You can consult all the information about this in the section Reservation and Cancellation Policy of our website.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by cash, credit card, bank transfer or Bizum.

Where can I find the campsite rules and regulations?

If I have to suspend my trip, can I cancel?
Yes, you can cancel. If you cancel more than 30 days in advance, 100% of the advance payment will be refunded; if you cancel between 15 and 30 days before, the refund will be 50%; and if you cancel less than 15 days before, no refund will be made. How to get to the campsite?
We are in the town of Lumbrales, in the northwest of the province of Salamanca. Exactly at kilometer point 83 of the CL-517 road that connects Salamanca with La Fregeneda, on the Portuguese border.
If you are coming from Salamanca: from the A-62 highway take the exit 244-A towards CL-517-Vitigudino.
If you are coming from Ciudad Rodrigo: take the SA-324 road towards Lumbrales.
You can get to the campground by public transportation. The Salamanca-La Fregeneda bus line stops right at the campground entrance.
Is parking available?
Yes, we have a free outdoor parking area. However, our guests may park their vehicles inside the campground if they notify the front desk in advance. Guests staying in RVs and bungalows may park their vehicles in the campground’s indoor parking lot.
The rate for RVs and bungalows includes one vehicle. If you bring more than one vehicle per unit, you will be charged separately, or you may leave it in the outdoor parking lot.
