During the Vettonian period (V-I centuries B.C.), the beginning of the settlement of Las Merchanas, one of the largest documented settlements in the province of Salamanca, is recorded. Located in a meander of the river Camaces, you can reach it in a beautiful walk from the campsite. This castro is part of the Vet\u00f3n Territory in which you will find others, such as Saldeana or Yecla la Vieja. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

GR-14<\/h3>

The GR-14 long-distance route, or Senda del Duero, crosses Castilla y Le\u00f3n from the Urbi\u00f3n mountain range in Soria to the Vega Terr\u00f3n dock in Salamanca.
